Fuzzy Kickoff Squad Match guide: superstars and super skills

Squad Superstars are special players you can sign in Team & Shop. They play for you in Squad Match, wearing your team's kit, and each brings a super skill that only works in the 11 vs 11 game. Up to three can be in your squad at once. A superstar's skill fires when you control that player and your skill meter is full.
Captain Cheer, 2,500 coins: Team Rally
Your whole team runs faster for 7 seconds. It's the cheapest superstar and a great first buy. Use it right after winning the ball in midfield, when a fast counter-attack can catch the other team out of position.
Zip, 3,000 coins: Blink
With the ball, Zip teleports 10 metres towards goal. Without it, Zip appears straight on top of a loose ball. Blink is perfect for skipping past the last defender or snatching a loose ball in the box.
Gale, 3,500 coins: Tornado
Every rival within about 10 metres is blown away, dizzy for a moment, and Gale grabs the ball if it's nearby. Use it in a crowded midfield or when you're surrounded near the corner flag.
Blaze, 4,000 coins: Meteor Strike
Blaze's next shot becomes a blazing meteor that no keeper or defender can touch. Only the Jelly Wall skill can still block it. Line up a shot from just outside the box for an almost certain goal.
Professor Tick, 5,000 coins: Time Stop
The entire other team, keeper included, freezes for 2.5 seconds. That's long enough to walk the ball into an empty net from the edge of the box, or to break up a dangerous attack.
Goldie, 6,000 coins: Golden Boot
For 12 seconds every goal your team scores counts double, and the screen shows DOUBLE GOAL. Activate it when you're about to shoot, or combine it with Meteor Strike from Blaze for a two-goal swing.
Which superstar should you buy first?
- If you like to attack fast: Captain Cheer, then Blaze.
- If you struggle in front of goal: Blaze for Meteor Strike.
- If you concede a lot: Gale or Professor Tick to break up attacks.
- For a strong late game: Goldie, once you have coins to spare.
Hard AI teams sometimes bring a superstar too, so watch out for their skills. Online, each player's own superstars join their squad.
