Jiggle Drop battle guide: attacks, items and targeting
Updated: November 5, 2026
Jiggle Drop looks like a calm falling-block puzzle until the junk rows start rising. In a battle with up to six players, surviving isn't enough: you need to send attacks and pick the right target. This guide covers the basics that win most matches.
Sending attacks
Single line clears keep you alive but don't attack anyone. Clearing 2 or more lines at once, or clearing lines on back-to-back pieces, sends junk rows to your target. The bigger the clear, the more junk. Because the well is 9 jellies wide, a well-built stack fills quickly, so plan for multi-line clears instead of clearing every line as soon as it's ready.
A simple stacking plan
- Build flat across most of the well and leave one column open at the side.
- Use Hold (C or Shift) to keep a long piece ready for that column.
- Use the small 3-jelly piece to patch gaps instead of leaving holes.
- When junk arrives, dig down to it calmly. Panic stacking makes more holes.
Items worth saving
You can carry 3 items. Shield (blocks every attack for 12 seconds) and Bomb (clears your bottom 4 rows) are your emergency kit, so don't waste them on a clean board. Mirror is best in a busy room, where someone is likely to send you an item soon.
Items to fire quickly
Ink, Flip, Rush, Fog and Junk are attacks. They work best on a rival whose stack is already high: Rush makes their blocks fall four times faster for 6 seconds, and Flip swaps their left and right for 7 seconds. Fired at the right moment, either can finish a player off.
Choosing a target
Press Tab, or tap a rival on a phone, to change your target. In a big room, attacking the player closest to losing can knock them out and reduce the number of people sending you junk. In the final two, everything goes to your last rival anyway, so focus on clean, fast clears.
